Finally, I got my new site up and running, after way too long procrastinating. I’ve got plans for the blog over the next few weeks…I have several posts I’d like to make about feet, shoes, minimalist shoes, barefoot running, and some nice self-help exercises for feet.
I’d also like to expand on the “Self-Help” section from my old site. That page was such an embarrassment – I listed three exercises originally, then never, over several years, updated it at all. I have plenty of self-help ideas I’d like to share, including awareness/movement exercises that relate to the goals of the sessions in the classic Rolfing series. I’ve also got some health-related book reviews in mind and maybe some posts about nutrition. Please be checking back and I promise to keep the posts coming.
Meanwhile, about the pictures on the header of each page on my site: they were all taken, either by me or my companions, on a trek into the Himalayas in Nepal in 2010. As I was working on this site redesign, I thought long and hard about what to use as pictures for the headers….some movement-related photos, pictures of me working, or something anatomy-like. Then I decided that some of the pictures from our trip were so beautiful that I’d rather share them. This is just a few, and I’ll get a slideshow posted hopefully soon for anyone who’d like to see more. The trip was amazing and the pictures don’t even start to do it justice. I’ll have more to say about that later as well. Meanwhile, thanks for showing up and I hope you enjoy the site!
